In the last post we discussed learning organisation that utilises a learning culture to continuously enhance its systems, optimise operations, and empower employees.
A learning organisation is one that is ready to change !
So, Why “change”
#HarvardBusinessReview released a book “On Change Management”. It is a compilation of articles and case studies that explore the topic of #change_management.
The book provides insights and practical advice on how to manage change in various business contexts.
It covers several aspects of change management, including the concepts that drive change, the approaches to managing resistance to change, and strategies for ensuring the success of change initiatives.
If we decide to change then we need guidance on how to lead change and communicate such change effectively with all the related stakeholders before and during the change process and the associated dynamics.
Many experts in the field have written various articles and case studies of organisations that have effectively managed change. These cases explore different industries and contexts, including airlines, technology and healthcare as well as some mergers and acquisitions.
Let’s not forget John P. #Kotter on “leading change”
Here is a famous quotes on “change”:
“Change is the only constant in life.” – Heraclitus
This quote, emphasises the idea that everything is in a state of constant flow and that change is a natural and inevitable part of life.
